Alexandre Barthet is now launching his first fragrance, “ Alexandre Barthet’s BARTH”.

A multi-faceted artist, fashion designer and accomplished painter, Alexandre Barthet has remained true to the notion of craftsmanship in Haute Couture.

This young talent creates everything from clothes and hats to accessories such as handbags and shoes, offering women a sophisticated, lighthearted, glamorous and extravagant style – trendy, festive fashion graced with feathers, rhinestones and sequins.

Alexandre Barthet owes his taste for perfection and beauty to his father, Jean Barthet, the famous milliner who designed hats for the world’s most ravishing women, including Brigitte Bardot, Sophia Loren and Catherine Deneuve.

A man of his times, Alexandre Barthet appeals to contemporary young women. “The Haute Couture clientele is getting younger,” he says. “I design clothing for women barely out of their teens, but with the sophistication of Haute Couture”.

With Alexandre Barthet, embroidery and lace are reinvented, lamé jeans and inlaid boleros created, muslin is torn into strips, and mink hats are interlaced with diamonds.

Top notes: youthful freshness and spicy-sparkly-glamorous modernity, with a luscious composition of freesia and fruit, namely grapefruit and black current.

Middle notes: the warmth of sensual animal, woody notes – cedar and amber – develops into an energetic, bracing, cheerful burst of peony.

Base notes: a unique and stunning base formed out of a harmonious fusion of peach, musk and caramel dominated by ultra-feminine, sweet softness.

THE BOTTLE AND THE BOX

The bottle is pink, because Alexandre Barthet sees life through rose-tinted glasses!

It is a transparent pyramid whose bright, flashy-colored bottom reflects light, cladding the bottle in pink.
Pyramids, with their sturdy base, are objects from which Alexandre Barthet derives strength and energy for his creations. 

A fuchsia-colored, translucent, heart-shaped cap symbolizes Alexandre Barthet’s declaration of love to women: a joyful, massive heart uplifted by the strength of the feelings it expresses.

The bottle marries the pyramid shape’s eternal modernity with the youthful, glamorous playfulness of the cap.

The designer has enhanced the bottle with a touch of Haute Couture, a must-do when one’s name is Alexandre Barthet. Four ribbons bound together – two in light pink satin and two in bright pink organza – enlace the bottle’s neck for a chic, fun final touch.

Alexandre Barthet continued the theme of a rosy outlook when designing the box. Pale pink is set off by a double-lined fuchsia frame to match the fuchsia lettering of the perfume’s name, ”Alexandre Barthet’s BARTH”, which rests like a designer’s hand-drawn sketch in the center of the box.
